Northwest Precision Muzzle Brakes proudly made by Mac’s Gunworks in Gillette Wyoming USA

Custom contoured to your specification, keep reading to find out how this works!!

These Quick Fire Muzzle Brakes are designed by certified master gunsmith Chuck McIntosh. These are the very same muzzle brakes Chuck uses when building his long range tactical rifles and pistols. Check out the gallery of customer gun builds using these muzzle brakes, we are Mac’s Gunworks in Gillette Wyoming.

We finish these Quick Fire brakes as they are ordered. The Quick Fire brakes are threaded, crowned, bored to your caliber, and optionally contoured, leaving you or your gunsmith final fitting as well as the opportunity to turn a seamless transition from barrel to brake.

We will custom contour the rear of the brake to your specification, for example: Let’s say you have a 6.5mm Creedmore with muzzle diameter .700″ and 5/8-24 threads. We can contour the Quick Fire brake from .850″ down to the .700″ muzzle diameter. See listing photo’s for examples of what this looks like.

See below how to order your custom contoured brake! -and the size limits.

FAQ: Our Quick Fire Muzzle Brakes must be indexed to your barrel. These Quick Fire brakes will help reduce muzzle jump, And reduce recoil significantly. Our Quick Fire brakes have no ports on the bottom side. (bottom ports kick up dust and negate muzzle jump reduction ports.)

FAQ: Our Quick Fire Muzzle Brakes can be indexed without washers or shims by you or your gunsmith if you have a lathe. This involves facing off slight amounts until the brake tightens up at the right index. This is how we install them here at Mac’s Gunworks every day.

FAQ: Our Quick Fire Muzzle Brake can be indexed with washers or shims and there is a huge variety of styles and materials to choose from on eBay -which is where we buy them when needed.

FAQ: Our Quick Fire Muzzle Brakes come in five finishes. The default finish is “Machine Finish” Which means it just came off the lathe and has not been polished. Second we have “polished stainless” which means belt sanded while in the lathe. Third and fourth is we can media blast ( non-shiny) or bead blast (Dull-shiny) the brakes. Lastly we offer Cerakote in a variety of colors. Please see listing photo’s for example of both finishes side by side.

Very important: Please let us know when ordering, the caliber, muzzle brake outer diameter, mounting thread, and contour diameter if using the custom contour option.

For example: 300 win mag x .950 OD x 5/8-24 x custom contour from .800″
